Ira Martin Ed.D, C.P.C.,

Dr. Martin received his doctoral and master’s degrees in Counseling and Human Development with a specialization in Sport Psychology from Boston University, and his bachelor’s degree Summa Cum Laude from Suffolk University, where he was awarded Psychology Student of The Year.  He completed a personal and executive coaching program with the Institute of Professional Empowerment Coaching–IPEC, and is a Certified Professional Coach.

Ira became interested in sport and performance psychology as a collegiate ice hockey player, and over the past several years has worked with numerous youth, high school, and college athletes, as well as coaches and referees. He is passionate about educating teams, executives, coaches, and parents, in group and individual settings, and is a member of the Association of Applied Sport Psychology.

Ira has taught undergraduate classes in Sport Leadership, Adolescent Development, and Abnormal Psychology at Lasell and Mount Ida College, and has taught undergraduate and graduate level courses at Boston University, in Sport Psychology, Sport Science, and Counseling.  Dr. Martin currently serves as the Captain John A. Henriques Leadership Scholar at the United States Coast Guard Academy Institute for Leadership, were he teaches and researches on the topic of leader development.

JennyMae Martin

JennyMae is currently studying psychology and art in the School of Liberal Arts at the University of New Hampshire.  As a former harpist and dancer (tap and ballet), she has become interested in human behavior, and counseling psychology within the arts.  JennyMae has spent nearly seven years as a teaching assistant at a local Montessori school, and is passionate about working with and educating young children and adolescence.  Her background in working with youth populations have helped her instruct sport psychology classes to groups of athletes across various ages.  JennyMae’s passion for film and digital photography have helped prepare2perform coordinate social media efforts across various platforms.
